The season of home objects – La stagione degli Oggetti di casa

The initiative Oggetti Socievoli (Sociable Objects) invited people to send a photo, with a short note, of discovered, re-discovered and re-interpreted home objects during the months of the first lockdown. The Oggetti Socievoli project ought to build a community and share experiences. With this initiative, we've hoped to lift people’s spirits so they could take their minds off the pandemic and think of brighter days, even just for a moment. Gladly, we have received 100 submissions of Sociable (discovered, re-discovered and re-interpreted) home objects from more than 15 countries. Parallel to that, in the same time frame, the project explored and gave attention to a few artisanal production processes of handmade objects.
