IMAGES consist of three parts. An Olive Leaf Green includes a collection of 26 poems, To the Lake and Hills contains two chronicles followed by a playlet, and Yet One More Spring a further 10 poems. While some verses might be considered nursery or fanciful rhymes and were inspired by the awesome surroundings, other mirror life’s riddles and tests, the pursuit of wisdom and a yearning to wander. Although On the Courts of OI’ and Quiet Days at Lido Beach were chronicled some three decades apart both spells belong to the so called vintage years, before the renovations took place. Background of My Happiness is Lugano’s verdant hillside.
